Does this LBL Lighting Flurry Contemporary Low-Voltage Pendant Light – HS452?include a transformer ?I am using?the 50 watt GY6.35 xenon lamp and I would like the fixture to be 120V. Please be advised. Thank you.
Answer: The flurry pendant light?from LBL Lighting (the manufacturer)?is a low voltage pendant, so a transformer is provided in order to change the 120V to a 12V. Unfortunately, there is no line voltage option for this light. We have another manufacturer called Tech Lighting has some pendant lights that are the same quality as LBL in line voltage. You can also search “line voltage pendant” in our search engine.

Senior homes Today the trend is toward smaller homes. COC's few 16-person homes have downsized and the organization's focus is on offering a variety of smaller housing options. It also has tailored homes to meet the needs of its aging population. "We thought it was time to have a house with no stairs. We started our first home (for seniors) through a grant through the mental health system. it's all one floor in Livonia. Because we've been around for so long, people have aged with us. Our oldest gal is going to be 87." COC maintains a waiting list for housing and staff assistance. King said some families place their adult developmentally disabled children on the list when they aren't immediately ready to see them move into a group or independent living environment. "Often we hear from the parents when they are starting to age. The last person who moved into Livonia house, it was a struggle for mom and dad. It was hard to see their son move on, but in the end they are happy and he's happy." Many moves Mies and Munn both lived in COC group housing after moving out of their parents' homes and before moving into apartments together and eventually into Munn's childhood home, which became available after her mother moved into a senior residence. "There certainly was potential in both of the ladies to live more independently," King said. "Anne and Jean Ann feel safe living together here." Munn knows the neighbors, having grown up in the house. Family members frequently visit and the women work regularly with COC staff. King said the community has pitched in to help COC residents who don't have family nearby. Three families from Resurrection Catholic Church in Canton reached out to become friends with several residents. Community groups assist with sprucing up properties and have come together for a wellness program COC recently started. "All kinds of people have reached out to say, how can we help? How can we make the lives of the people you're supporting better?" As for Mies and Munn, they've found their perfect home. "We had a housewarming and everybody came and we had a good time," Munn said. "I like it because we have that big backyard that we never had before," Mies added. tiffany table lamps
Now a Las-Vegas-based company called Radast Design is taking the classic form factor but injecting it with new technology. One of the problems with LED lighting, which has been so often hailed as the lighting of the future, is its need for heat sinks; manufacturers that don't want to deal with the added expense and hassle of heat sinks opt instead for weaker bulbs, which is why I find many consumer versions of LEDs so lame—the small LED add-on lamps you can buy for a sewing machine, for instance, are disappointingly wan. With their LightDrive lamp design, Radast has a different solution: Most integrated LED lamp designs deliberately use low brightness LEDs to avoid dealing with heat. The LightDrive table lamp offers a completely novel approach to light output and thermal management.... By isolating the heat to the base of the lamp, we have engineered a more efficient thermal management solution without the contraints of working around the classic bulb-socket design. The result is a unique looking lamp which operates at only 13 Watts and has no exposed hot surfaces. What Radast has done is essentially turn the lamp's innards upside-down. The light-producing, heat-generating element is in the base, and fires light upwards through the transparent stalk into a diffuser, up top, residing where the traditional bulb would be. Have a look: This being a new Kickstarter project, there are no theoretical renderings; the Radast team does display some CAD illustrations, but those are of parts they've actually constructed. http://www.tablelampswalmart.com/tif...ble-lamps.html
