This is the first day that they've been in school since ... let me think ... the Monday before last! I didn't think they'd ever go back.
With the snow moving back in early Monday, I don't know how long it will last though...

I'd love to be the ideal mother but I'm too busy raising my kids.

The kids are back in school here with a two hour delay. They have lost their spring break and all non-federal holidays for the rest of the year, so the teachers can catch them up for their May achievement tests. This is the first the kids here have been in school for about two weeks. I am guessing next year, they are definitely going to start school in early August so this won't happen again.

When I was growing up, they built 2 or 3 weeks into our schedule for snow days. Don't they do that anymore? We had so many days that we could use without having to make them up. Anything more, they added to the end of the year.

Well, this is the big task for teachers to complete their tasks which actually they didn't complete yet. Self Managed Learning. I am hoping they will do in next couple of weeks.
