Living alone.

Hey guys! I recently got divorced and currently, I'm living alone with my child here in Canada. I never thought, living alone could get this difficult. I'm both depressed and frustrated and it's getting difficult for me to handle things alone. Hence, I've been wanting my sister to come over and live with me for a few days. She lives in Geneva and since she is a writer, it's easier to shift her job here. But I'm afraid whether she would get a TRP or not. Could anyone let me know the procedure to get a TRP, here in Canada? I've however managed to find these rules for temporary resident visa, online. But a few more details, would do good. Thanks in advance.
