galloping never get overs??

Well to start with you all are probably to young to have heard of the 'galloping never get overs'

but that is what our parents used to call a group of non specific symptoms that meant you just felt

without actually knowing why.

I've felt that way for a while but ignored it, now I'm going on holiday I want to enjoy it without feeling

all the time, so put on your thinking caps ladies and see what you think.

Mostly it involves a fair amount of pain on the upper right side of my abdomen, almost under my rib cage. I also get the pain in the same spot on my back just under my right shoulder blade, so I'm picking that it is something in the middle

. It often feels like the last month of a pregnancy where all of your organs are squished and then baby decides it is time to do a nice big stretchy somersault, pressing things even futher.

I get a lot of abdominal pain as well but after concentrating on it for the last 48 hours I have managed to pin point the most severe pain. Sometimes it is so bad it makes me feel sick, and apparently I go very pale,

not a good look

This has been going on for a few weeks now, it comes and goes but this week and came and stayed.

I have had teeny, tiny gallstones before about 5 - 6 years ago, but it is a 'different' kind of pain this time, if that makes sense, it is not a sharp stabbing pain, more like someone is moving my insides around and they don't like it. (Gee, I wonder why not ). The only thing that bothers me is that I am pretty sure that the part that the pain appears to be coming from is where your gall bladder and pancreas lives.

Well my pancreas has already failed, I don't want any other organs lining up to go on strike because they think I've let my pancreas get away with falling down on the job.

Any bright ideas ladies??, heck any dim ideas?? even any "I heard about a cousin of a friend who had a step brother who knew a guy who had a..." ideas would be welcome

The first thing that jumped into my head was your gallbladder??? Other than that hon i have absolutely no idea??

Des thinks maybe I have pulled a muscle somewhere in my back and that is making all the muscles in my abdomen go on strike as well. Because driving always sets it off.

I'm going to give in and go to the doctors because this is driving me nuts, unfortuantly sitting and typing seems to set it off as well

Does anyone know if a pulled back muscle can affect your abs?? (Well ok the things that I laughing refer to as my abs

)

I lived thru the never get overs until I had my gallbladder removed at 25...does the pain strt in your lower back and then kinda seem like it moves around until it hits you in the mid to lower gut ?

No the pain starts up higher, just below my shoulder blade and zooms around all over the dang place.

I have an appointment in an hour and a half so I'll let you know what he says. It had better be something that can be fixed quickly as it is getting worse by the day and I'm not to sure how I will cope at work as I'm on my own for the next 3 nights.

That certainly explained the weird symptoms I am getting. I have pulled a muscle in my back that is causing all sorts of lovely pain and my gall bladder is playing up again
