Okay, Alexis is great at night and goes right to sleep at 9:30 - 10:00 but then when she gets tired during the day she fights it. We have to rock her on our shoulders but she is starting to get a little long for that. She does not take the pacifier very easily either. Any suggestions???

Well, Pierce would not take a pacifier, so I know your pain!! All I can suggest, is to rock her to sleep! Pierce finally grew out of that stage like a month ago. Let me tell you...I love it now!
He puts himself to sleep by playing on my bed. I think you will just have to wait it out. Sorry, not much help, but at least in my experience, that is what had to happen!
Thanks for the advice. I just wish she would go to sleep for naps the way she does at night....but rocking her is not that bad...gives me kind of a break too.
