Stroller recomendations for a tall person

My wife is 6'1 and we are looking for an umbrella stroller with higher handles. I tried the Evenflo X Sport and the handles are too low for me (5'9"), my feet kept hitting the wheels and I felt hunched over. I haven't tried the Evenflo X Sport Plus yet, it has the adjustable handles.

Our requirements: tall handles, lightweight, compact folding, less the $75.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

I found the Jeep umbrella style stroller to be the most comfortable but Onestepahead.com offers a handle extension that can be adapted to most strollers.

I'm 5'11" and had the same trouble. I know this isn't in your price range, however I recommend the Peg Perego Pliko style. The handles are adjustable and it has a stand on back for another child (<50lbs.) to stand on. When I bought this stroller, I had 3 little ones under age 4, so it was great to have that extra stand for my 2 year old. I purchased a new one on ebay for $125.00.

Re: Stroller recomendations for a tall person

I ordered an Evenflo X Sport Plus and it should be here early next week. Hopefully that works out well.

We've been using one of those snap-n-go tubular frame strollers that accept the infant car seat. It works great and the handle is at a nice height but Sophie is almost too big for the seat so it has to go. 6.5 months and almost 22 lbs, she's an eating machine.

The evenflo X Sport Plus arrived yesterday. We put Sophie in and pushed her around and it seemed very comfortable on the handle height. I think we have a winner.
