I was just wondering what ya'll were doing for Jessi's 6th birthday? I am having so much trouble coming up with something to do for Haley's 6th. Her's is also in the summer so we don't have contact with alot of school friends. We would like to do an outside party but after getting rained out last year I am a little scared about it.
I know you guys just moved so Jessi isn't close to any of her friends from school last year. Are you having as much trouble as I am?
I just need ideas.

Good luck!
I keep thinking we will just do a small party with family but I would hate to deny her a big party and I am afraid she will start asking about a friends party.

We ran into pretty much the same problem with Cori this year.
It was in Feb. so it was pretty cold plus we had not been here too long so none of really knew anyone yet.
I took Cori out to eat at her favorite restraunt and had them sing Happy Birthday to her and give her a big Mexican hat. She love it! To this day she begs us to tell places it is her birthday so she will get the attention!
Then that Friday night we took her to Chuckie Cheese. We did not invite any other kids (they were on cycle break for 3 weeks so I really had no way to get in touch with anyone since I did not know anyones last name!). I think that she had just as much fun that way, if not more since she got to make new friends there.
Needless to say--my child is easy to please!!
I really think that all the individual attention we and the places we went to gave her helped a lot. She has said that her 7th birthday was her favorite of all time.
