Train birthday party

Kale really likes trains right now..so I'm thinking about a train birthday party. We have this place here locally that rents out mini trains for your backyard. I could do that and have the party at home ?!?! Has anybody else used a train theme? What did you do!?!?

My ideas so far:
train ticket for invitation
train cake
goodie bags with conductor hats
rent the train

?!??!?

This is a great idea, Roxanna!! Alexander's party is going to be at a park this year and there's one that has a train that goes around the park. We may or may not use that park but if we do, would you mind if we borrowed your ideas?

That sounds like a great party theme! My cousin did Thomas the train for her 3 year old's Birthday party and it was a big hit with the kids.

Roxanna, that is a wonderful idea. I didn't know you could rent those!! Brandon loves trains also. DH was thinking of us getting him a bouncy house for his birthday, but what a great idea!! Can you give me the info on that? The other ideas you have sound great also!!!
