Since Alexander is really into Peter Pan and loves playing the role of Captain Hook (unless things change that's who he'll be for Halloween) I think we're going to do a Pirate Party for Al's 3rd birthday.
Since we'll have kids there from 6 months to 15, I've come up with one group activity that the older kids can help the younger ones do: a treasure hunt. It should be fun and give them something to do together. The rest of the day they can do whatever they want and we'll improvise as we always do.
We'll see what we can find along the lines of a pirate costume for Alexander (eye patch, hook, etc.) and give chocolate coins, candy necklaces and ?? for party favors.
I'm hoping it'll be fun!!
