I spent more money on the 2 bags of candy I bought (miniture candy bars, 115 pieces per pag) at $9.99 a piece then I did on Brandons halloween costume!!
$20 for candy!! They sure make out this time of year!

I am not even bothering this year. We get no TOT's in our neighborhood. Every year I leve a bowl of candy out when we go and come back to it all still there.

We spent about $15 and I thought that was ridiculous. Especially considering that our little one is only 17 months, so who will eat all the leftovers?? Oh yeah, me!! =)

Life should Not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, BUT rather to skid in sideways, Chocolate in one hand- Martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO- What a Ride!!!
We didn't buy any because we'll be out ourselves and because we live in the country where people have to drive from house to house and because you can't see our house from the road, the only ones we ever got were our nieces and nephews and since we won't be home, we don't have to buy any!!
But I agree that $20 is a lot to spend on candy.

I know. Isn't it awful? DH was just wanting some plain m&m's last week, and all we could find was the Halloween snack packs, and there was no way I was paying $5+ for one of those when I can normally buy a regular bag for $2 or less.
