How long does your hair cut take?

I love my stylist, but I feel she cuts my hair very quickly - wash, cut and style in a half hour. I thought it was b/c she was very experienced and knows what she is doing.

I spoke to some ladies last night and they go to a guy who takes an hour to do their hair and LOVE him! An entire hour!

I wonder, am I being short changed? It cost me $36 for a hair cut - plus tip!

Mine takes at least an hour, add another 30 min. if I get it straightened. My hair is kinda long though... I don't know, do you feel rushed when you go? My cuts run $80 if it doesn't include color.

Yes, I feel rushed. I just don't know what is normal. If I get a color (foil) is costs me $130. I hate paying that much since I am not working so I cut back on the color.

Well I go to cheapie places and am in and out inan hour. But I'm not picky about my hair (as long as it lookgs good) adn I only got once a year - if that - to get my hair cut.

I don't even know where to start ot get a stylist and a *regular*person to cut my hair.

If it is just a wash and cut, half and hour and she always does a great job.

If it is just a trim to get my shape back than it usually only takes 30 - 45 minutes to wash, cut, and style. If I'm going for something totally different than it can take a bit longer.

My hair is fairly long (midway between shoulders and shoulder blades) I go in when the ends get to split, about twice a year, it costs about $17 and if you exclude waiting time it takes about 10 - 15 minutes, just a spray with the water bottle, trim the ends and I'm gone, of course it is a walk in and wait your turn place so you can be waiting for a good 30 minutes most times.

When I want a colour, make that need a colour ( Dang grey hair ) I buy one at the supermarket for around $14 and get Des to do it he is really cheap, he works for coffee
