The Truth About Egg Donation

I'm amazed that woman get paid for egg donations in the States , I was going to become an egg donor in NZ, I had had my children, had donated blood for years (also a non paid thing) and knew a couple of infertile couples and knew the pain they went thru.

They reason I didn't was bc of the genetic problems we have, I didn't think someone who had been thru all of the processes would be to grateful if they ended up with an asthmatic child with ADHD and with a slim possibility of Diabetes (my diabetes is thru medical malpractice not so much genetics).

I think donating eggs is a wonderful gift of life and I regret that I couldn't do it.

I know a lot of "religious" or "spiritual" people think it's like "playing God".

I probably would donate if I could (too old, too much anti-depressants...blah, blah blah).

I would probably have looked into getting a donation if I had tried all other methods and had not conceived.

Most any thing or process can be used for either good or bad, depending on the motives of the people involved.

And last time I checked, God was in favor of children.
