A package arrived here right before Olivia's birthday from my in laws. When I opened it it was a birthday gift. Here's the problem. The boys weren't sent anything for their bday (remember Olivia is the only blood child Billy and I have), not even a card. THEN, my FIL had the NERVE to send a bunch of pics for us of the family and MISPELLED Kevin and Olivia's name!! How hard are those names to spell?!?!? And why on God's green earth would they think I would give her that present??? (well we did, but we said it was just from Billy's brother) And they signed it "grandpa and nana" Um, sorry they don't even know who you people are. WTF?! I can't believe they're starting up again. They CHOSE to disown us almost 4 years ago. Stick with it people...

How rude!
Who cares if you adopted Aaron and Kevin? They are your children and their grandchildren, does it matter if they are Billy's blood or not?

Some people are just so ignorant

to them!! I don't see how someone can love a child more just because your blood is flowing through their veins? They're pretty flip floppy on disowning aren't they?

They have never said that Aaron and Kevin are different, they just seem to be much more aware of Olivia.

What idiots-you don't need that kind of stupidity in your lives anyway!

Do they accept the boys as grandkids too at all? Or just blood Olivia?

You know what because the boys dont know them it wont hurt them at all. The grandparents are the iggnorant ones. They are missing out on an awesome relationship with their grandsons.

I think that totally sucks. I wish there was something you could say to them to know the error of their ways.

I agree they need to make up their minds on the disownership issue! That is so wrong to only acknowledge her!

None of my kids know them at all. They stopped talking to us a few months after we brought the boys home. They have surfaced maybe 3-4 times since then (2000). The kids have briefly met them with no specific introductions, so all three of my kids are clueless. Billy's dad is weird about blood relations, not to mention the fact that he's been recently diagnosed as bi-polar.... Really makes me want to run back to San Antonio, right?!
