Got Your Pumpkins Yet?

Have you gotten your pumpkins yet? Have you carved them?

We usually get ours about a week before Halloween and carve them a couple of days before. The kids are so excited this year to do it!

We dont have ours yet..the boys dont really care..but we usually get some anyway..

No I don't have mine yet. Our church runs a "Pumpkin Patch" that I am scheduled to work next Sunday so I will probably pick ours up then. We won't carve them until closer to Halloween though. We did them too early one year and we ended up with limp jackolanterns.

I have 1 so far. It is huge. I have it hiding under the tarp in the backyard, so the hoodlums don't get it. It would be too tempting I am sure. I plan on getting a few more smaller ones, and a haystack, and put it on my front porch about a week before halloween.

Nope. I think we may try to go this weekend. Just depends on the weather. I think they're predicting rain for the next week, so it will have to be after that.

nope - Lys gets to go on a field trip next week to a pumpkin farm and I get to be a chaperone so I think we may get them then

We got two little ones this past weekend. MIL will get some more this weekend and then we carve a couple days before. Probably that Friday night.
