What is your scariest Halloween memory?

When I was little – about 5ish – friend of my parents came over to visit. They brought there son who was about 9ish. He was dressed up like a vampire with blood oozing from his mouth and everything. Well, he was hiding in the yard when they came in… and then rang our doorbell. OMG – I have never been so scared in my life. I remember bawling. To this day – I HATE opening the door on Halloween. I make Dan do it. I truly can’t stand it.

Oh...I went to my first haunted house. Everyone in the haunted house tried to "get" me. I had hands reaching thru walls hugging me...I get scared easy and I knew better.

I almost past out...lost my group...do I need to say anymore...I was scared out of my pants. lol

I have never been to another haunted house since.

That is why I won't go to a haunted house Libby. I know that it is fake but if someone touches me or something gruesome flashes in front of me, I would pee my pants.

I don't have any scary Halloween memories because I wasn't allowed to celebrate as a child.

I was about 5 or maybe a little younger and my mom took me and my brothers out tricck - o - treating. We went up to this one house and there was a lady as a witch stirring her cauldron with smoke and everything. and then there was a guy dressed as a gorilla. the gorilla scared the bejeppers out of me - he was the one who would hand out the candy. I screamed and refused to go up the porch by him. he even took off his "head" so I could see it was a real person. Didn't help - He freaked me out way too much.

To this day I get creeped out by people in costume - no matter WHAT the costume (not the little kids - but the ones like the easter bunny and such that hang out at the malls and parades)
