I never had a baby shower for any of my kids, nobody could when I had my first son because we were in the military and gone, then when I got pregnant with my other 2 I was told it was inappropiate to have one because I already had a child.

I was so very disappointed! That was one thing I was looking forward to each time I got pregnant but it never happened.

Nobody. I never had one.

My mom told me that it is supposed to be your mil or friends, or siblings, and my mil said it was supposed to be my mom

My best friend threw me one for Zachary as did my MIL. With Bailey I didn't have one. With Emily my Mom threw me one. With Payton my friend from work, Kim, threw me a small one for co-workers and obviously she emailed a BUNCH of BBUrs (she got the addresses from an email I sent her) to come as well but only JenS was able to make it.

The only one I had was for Grant, and my work threw it.
When I was pregnant with Grace, my sister was pregnant as well. She had at least 4 showers, all of which I attended. I didn't have a single one.

I had one with Nick...some of Mikes co workers threw a nice baby shower for us.

I had four. My friend insisted she have one for my friends. Then my mother in law for his side of the famiy then a work shower then my family's shower. They were all great!!

My MIL wanted to have one for me the first time I was pregnant, but I said no. I hate going to baby and wedding showers and didn't want one.
