no - the worst so far she has done is said "see ya later sucker!" we nipped that in the bud. but she is starting to repeat things so dad needs to watch his mouth a bit closer now.

It's sounded like it before, but we were never sure so we just kept quiet about it.

Re: Has your toddler

Somewhere Aaron picked up the D word. He used in context too. I guessed it was from the neighbors across the street so I stopped letting him go over there. I haven't heard it in months.

Yes. Frankly, I'm more worried about other things with her. We correct her, but it's not a major worry for us.

Re: Has your toddler

I had a 2 &1/2 YO telling a 2 YO yesterday Damnit over the playdough. Both of them were repeating it back and forth. I told them that we dont use that word and they seemed to stop.

Re: Has your toddler

Drew was about 2 when he suddenly stood up on his chait in the middle of Wendy's and proclaimed "God Damn It!" I was mortified! Lucky for me, the older couple near us just started laughing. The lady told me if that was the worst thing he ever said, I should count myself lucky. Little did I know then how right she was!

Ally used to walk around saying sh!t after she heard me say it once. We told her it was a bad word and after a few days she just quit saying it.

Re: Has your toddler

Kel said sh!t after she dropped something and I was embarrassed because I knew exactly where she got that from

Re: Has your toddler

My 2-year old pulled out the F-word the other day. I found the best way to discourage it is not by scolding him for it. Every time he says it, I correct him and say "no - it's "truck", and then he says truck. Seems to be working!

Re: Has your toddler

unfortunately but once we tell them it's a bad word they don't say it again thankfully!
