Ovulation w/o period

I have not seen AF. I tested today and I am definitely not pregnant, but I had a strong LH Surge on my Opk. We did make good use of the time. But I was wondering how can I be sure I am ovulating when I haven't seen AF?

Lenora... my best suggestion is to do basal body temps and use OPK. I believe if it showed a surge you did ovulate.

Heather any more info?

I know at one time I posted information on studies they are doing that show ovulation can occur at anytime during the cycle or more than once during a cycle. They are finding this and it could explain some of the TTC issues.

I'll try to find something on it and post it.

I think my SIL's (kidsrus) doctor told her that she ovulated more than once a month. I believe it was her.

The only way I knew I ovualted was when my temp jumped up. I used the basal body temp chart
