What amazign thing did your child do today?

I've been feeling guilty for feeling like I was blessed with an amazing kid, but you know what? Every kid is amazing, especially if they are your kid. Every kid needs parents who think they are great - no matter what their abilities are. So what did your kid do today that you thought was great?

Kate's been calling everything "puppy" including the cat! Whom doesn't care for that very much btw. Everyday I understand a new word she is saying and she becomes a little less shy. I'm so proud of her!

Chloe calls all cats and dogs "Duck" and then barks at them.
Her grandparents have a puppy that they named Duck because it was the only word that Chloe could say 4 months ago when they got it.

Zachary beat a level for the first time on his Nintendo game. He usually goes through the level and then asks someone else to beat the big boss at the end but today he did it on his own and was sooo excited.

Haley is at school so I'm not sure what amazing thing she has done yet besides getting dressed without whining about how she doesn't like her clothes.

A day without whining is a good day. Good job Zachary! I can't even make it through five minutes of any video game let along make it to a level outside the lowest beginner.

Josh started moving forward in his walker today!

Kaylee, Austin and Jake are actually playing nicely in the other room. That doesn't happen often

Sarah is having a very quiet morning. Playing quietly too. She also had some candy. (a couple of skittles)

I asked TJ if he had gone stinky and he replied with "I go stinky mommy!"

Now, if he could just tell me that BEFORE he actually goes and takes his diaper off, I'll have it made! Do I see potty training just around the corner???? I can hope!

Jessi got up and dressed without much of a fight and actually seemed excited to go back to school today (been out for a week due to fall break and her tooth)

Cody actually got dressed when I asked him and got his shoes on so that we could go to school.

Good job, TJ! Do you think you could teach Kate how to do that?

WTG Jessi! I hope she has a great day at school as well.

Good listening and getting ready for school Cody!

Well - Alyssa slept til 9am this morning! A definite first! (she fell asleep by 9 last night! ) And she got herself dressed and has been playing nicely all morning - WITHOUT cartoons and she hasn't even asked me to turn her shows on! I think we are breaking the TV addiction!

Hannah is singing in Choir for a fund raiser next week doing really well. Doing good in her school.
Will went to school without kicking screaming and crying which makes for a much better day for me where I am not worried about him

Alexander picked me a flower and put it in a cup with water all by himself yesterday! He is my little sweetie.

When I left this morning and told Elizabeth I loved her, she said "ub too" (meaning I love you too). She's my lttle pumpkin.

Sounds like everyone's kiddos are doing great today!

My little one actually behaved herself & didn't play possum for the RN. Her heartbeat was super easy to pick up today and the little booger was even kicking the other sensor as the RN was putting me on the monitor!! Lauren definitely liked the sandwich and juice snack I had on the way to the hospital!

nothing much today, but the other day she went to the bathroom all by herself and got on the toilet and pooped!! she didn't even tell me, she just got up there. I asked her what she was doing once she'd been in there a while (and quiet--dangerous combination with a toilet player ) and she said I'm poopin!

My amazing kids today? They played nice together and no one ended up with bruising! Now that is a good day.

Well Lexi wasn't here but at preschool she had show and tell and showed off her Carebear.

Devin - he amazed me by taking one step without falling afterwards!!!

Payton has started giving me TONS of kisses where as before I had to beg her for them. She also tries to blow kisses now.

Emily listened very well today and only had one major whine fest which is not too bad since she has not been feeling well.

Zachary has been respectful and agreeable all day and is always such a big helper!

Bailey read a book to me tonight and sounded some new words out all on his own.

Can I still get in on this??

Austin lets see.. He can sing his alphabet and sang it to me on our way home last night and didn't mess up L-M-N-O-P toooo awfully bad! And he counted to 13 with no mistakes!

Dylan- what is his major amazing thing? He can roll over BOTH ways now!! Belly to back and back to belly!! ALSO- the past 2 weeks he's been sleeping through the WHOLE night! From about 8:30p-7:30a!

All of our kids are amazing! I love hearing about what they all can do.

It's funny to me how kids learn one word and use it for everything similar to what they associate that word with. Elizabeth calls all dogs "Foo-Foo" and she calls every bird she sees "quack".

What a bunch of amazing kids! Good job to all of them!

Liz, Kate is absolutely nuts about Blue's Clues too. All you have to say is Blue's Clues and she breaks out in smiles and giggles.

Well Alisha made a great pster project for English on one of the outstanding African Americans. Sorry do not remember his name at the time.
She also brought up a grade just a little.
