Need suggestions for making costume warmer

Haley is going to be a flapper for Halloween. My mom made a gorgeous red dress for her to wear completely covered in fringe.
The problem is that it is sleeveless and not very thick either. It is basically just sating and fringe with sequin spaghetti straps.
She is going to freeze to death if she goes trick or treating in this dress.
I bought her a pair of thick pantyhose meant for iceskating and also a pair of fishnet stockings to wear on her legs but her arms and back are still going to be bare. I'm not sure what we can do.
I want her to be warm but I want it to fit with the outfit
The suggestions I have gotten are...
nude colored leotard
shawl
fur stole (made by just cutting some fake fur from Walmart probably)
opera gloves
Any other ideas? Do you have an opinion one the ones I've received already?

I think any of those will work! The fur stole might be uncomfortable for her to keep on, unless you maybe put a fastener on it so it's "hands free".

I think maybe a combo of the opera gloves and a shawl would keep her the warmest, but it's hard to say!

I think you have all the ideas covered! Good luck!

I was going to suggest a long sleeved 'nude' leotard as well.

All the malls have inside trick~or~treating here, we are going to do that and let them do a quick around the block when we get home. Is there an inside place they can go?

I think a shall and opera gloves would be cute.

I was going to suggest a cute shawl or a stole, but any of those sound like good ideas, Ladies!

I found a nude leotard online but there isn't time for me to order it... Does anyone know a retailer that carries Capezio Dancewear??
