Feeding him too much?

Dylan eats.. a LOT!

6pm-
Last night for instance he had 2 jars of baby food and a 4 ounce little gerber bottle of juice-

8pm-
8 ounce bottle (formula of course) wanted more but fell asleep

2am-
8 ounces formula

7am-
2 jars baby food, 4 ounce gerber juice 4 ounces formula

Is he eating too much? Normally at 8pm he'll do 10 ounces or more if I have a 2nd bottle made!

Or could hejust be going through a growth spurt??

He could be going thru a growth spurt. I really don't know. When Elizabeth was his age...I thought she ate a lot also. She always wanted more baby food.

Jonathan ate a lot, too.

Does he get cereal in his formula or anything?

I was thinking the same that maybe adding some cereal to the bottles could help in the amount he is eating.

We quit doing the cereal in his formula because he quit spitting up at night- the doc recomended it because he would just become a fountain when we laid him down-

PLUS- he can't have cereal because it causes him to get constipated!

seems like he is doing good

I think they say they should have 3 veggies and 2 fruits a day in baby food?

Wow he eats more in one sitting then Nicholas does all day....but that is because nicholas is a fussy eater and its always been hard to get him to eat

ugh.. i think he is going through a growth spurt!

Last nigth he had 2 jars of baby food at 5:30, bottle at 7pm, 11pm, woke up at 2 and i put him back to sleep, at4:30am, and is wanting to eat again!!

Needless to say I didn't get much sleep last night!

Michele~ Dylan's a fat lil kid too! LOL He doesn't go to the doc until the 9th, but I'm guessing he's about 22 pounds! lol
