HSG Test Question

Hello, this is my first time posting. I am going to have the HSG test in about 1 hour. I am really nervous. I was able to take time off of work for the procedure but I have to come back for about 3 hours. Do you think I will be in too much pain? I have Midol to take. Also for you ladies out there that have had this.....what exactly do they do. I know that they inject dye but what else is involved.

Heather!

I had it done last year and I didn't think it was really all that bad. I took Aleve (or something like that) an hour before the procedure and then took another one after I got home and just rested the remaining of the day. I had very little cramping...hardly noticable. It was almost like getting a pap smear done - and I'm a person that really doesn't mind them (I know some women dread them).

I hope your procedure goes well.

Cheryl is right it doesn't hurt that bad as you know by now. I hope everything went okay.
