Seasonal Behavior Help

Halloween has passed and the threat for those toddlers of "you will not be going trick or treating if you keep acting like this" is now past. I was talking to Trey the other day and I was looking at the Christmas toy catalog. I told him you know you have to be a good boy because Santa is coming soon. He laid on the floor and put his hands on his cheeks and told me in that innocent voice. "Oh Mom what are we going to do? No presents..." I with trying to hold a straight face said to him... Well honey you need to be a good boy or Santa will not bring any presents for you.

So we talked about it and we said there is no body slamming Tyler (boy at sitters), Try to use the potty more, Not fight with our Sissy and have to be an all around good boy. "Oh No", I tell him as I look over his shoulder and gazing out the window. "Trey I think I saw Santa out there." You better do this or that. Gosh the results I am getting are fantastic.

You might think that a 2 1/2 year old does not know what you are talking about. I really think they know more than they are letting on too. So if you celebrate Christmas with Santa Claus try using this method on your toddler and see what happens...
