We met at the park for an hour or so. I didn't want to go, but what can I do? She shook their hands hello which I liked, no need to be all slobbery all over them. Anyway, she behaved herself for the most part although when we were leaving she said, "should we do this again on Monday?" Slow down, Nelly.... Anyway, apparently she and my BIL are keeping this from my FIL (the insane one) for now. They will have to eventually tell him, and that's when the real fireworks will start. Oh and she did ask for a hug when she left. I guess that was ok....

I'm glad things went better than expected.

I figure you could use one of those.

So, how did the kids react to her?

It's always nice to atleast think that she is trying. My MIL suppsodly sp? said that she didn't want Jim and I to come out for Thanks Giving because she's afraid we will argue. Um hello your own daughter and husband can argue during holidays but I'm not good enough.

Well it sounds like it went better than you thought it would. Hopefully you won't have to do it again anytime soon.
