Best baby shower gift you got...

My mil has a baby shower to go to and wants to know what was the most useful gift I got. I have a few ideas but not a lot.

So what was the most useful gift you got or gave?

Is there something you wish you would have gotten?

Is there anything you got that you did not use?

I never got anything cause I never had a shower.

but dh's uncle brought us some diapers and rhyne's 1st pair of nikes

Most useful I gave: I made a snuggle-sack for the baby, one that had a hole so it could be used while the baby was in the car seat.

Most useful I got: Probably the Exersaucer, or the stroller. Toss-up there.

I would say the baby bathtub and baby hygiene products. I didn't get a whole lot of big things - but I did get a wild variety of things. Some people never use the bathtub, but I used it everyday. I have an inflatable rubber duck bathtub, my dd just loves. It was about $10 at Walmart and we have used the heck out it. I'm only sorry she'll grow out of it one day.

The most useful thing...diapers!!!
I also got a portable crib and a highchair for my shower with Gavin and I have used them with all 3 kids.

Let's see.... Most useful things I got--diapers and wipes, footed sleepers, gas drops, baby Tylenol. As far as bigger things, a Boppy pillow and Diaper Champ. I didn't get them for my shower, but I found them at a resale shop and my mom sent me the money for them. Those were the best things I think I had.

Things I didn't use--wipe warmer, toy bag that was supposed to attach to he stroller, and this bouncy seat that had a mesh dome top over it. You couldn't remove the top and use the seat alone. He was born in January, so I wasn't exactly taking him outside in the cold. And what would be need a mosquito net for in January? By the time it was warm enough to need it, he was too big for it. I liked the regular bouncy seat, but not that thing.

Best thing I've ever given...

I really liked gift cards, too. I used several combined to get a swing that I wanted since I didn't get one for my shower.

i would have to say the Boppy Pillow i got and the packs of diapers and clothes that were 3-6month size.

Least useful thing - the wipe warmer - took that back immediately!

Most useful - bouncy seats - I got 3 which worked out perfectly! 1 for our house, and 1 each for the Nana's houses.
