My little gas-ball....

Did anyone else have trouble with an extremely gassy baby?

No matter how much I burp her, she's still so miserable. And now that she's bottle feeding, the constipation monster has set in.

Any advice to help??? Thanks!

That was exactly how Josh was (still is sometimes) We used myclon(sp? I think that's what they are called) drops that worked really well when Josh would not burp.

We used Mylicon drops, too. Usually, we got the Wal-Mart brand because they were cheaper. They worked great.

As your dr for a prescription for the gas drops. They are a 1000x better then the otc kind. I can totally sympathize with ya-Payton had horrible collic for more then 4mo. We were both miserable but the prescription drops helped a LOT!

Delaney was very gassy the first month as well! I used the Gerber Gas Drops (still do when I need them) and they are working wonders!!
Within 2 minutes of taking them, she settles right down.

The only thing and I mean the only thing that work was going to the VERTAIR playtex bottle. I tried myloconsp? burping. If you notice a lot of bubbles when the bottle is almost empty to much air in the bottle. My husband said I can't feed him anymore it's all bubbles and that's when I realized it wasn't wrong burping, or allergic to milk it was bubbles in the bottle.

Dylan's a pretty gassy kid too- takes after his Mom! LOL

Mylicon works well- infact I up it in Dylan's bottle to decrease the amount of bubbles..

good luck

I just used the Wal-Mart brand. Elizabeth would kind of settle down after giving it to her, but I was still up with her for about an hour...then she would burp.

Thanks Krista...I didn't know you could get prescribition meds for gas for infants. I'll know that next time.
