Isn't it funny how "we" all feel that the most expensive bottles are the "best" to give our children.
I have Avent for Kyler. As you ladies know, they are one of the more pricey ones.
Well, you also know that I'm having a problem with Laney drinking from them.
Now - Although Laney is STILL not taking a bottle, the bottle/nipple that seemed to work the best so far... is the cheapest, oldest bottle on the market. The Straight neck - plain and simple - gerber.
And the funny thing is... I'm sitting here second guessing myself. Saying "Oh no... I have to use the "best" for my daughter which would obviously be the Avent or Dr. Browns..."
I mean - does the wide mouth, or vented bottom, or curved bottle really make that much of a difference? Am I going to "harm" her because I use this boring looking bottle??
What do you think? I'm know that I'm rambling... but I'm really serious about this.
I know that nipples make a difference. That each child might prefer something different. But do you really think that the bottles make that much difference??

I never understood it. I did use the playtex bottles with the drop-ins for the first few weeks. But after I went back to work, we just used whatever was handy.
