Last night when I went out I ran into one of my SIL's. I was standing there talking to someone and I hear "Hey Beck" I turn around to see my SIL Darcey. She didn;t recognize me untill she saw me laughing. SHe is amazed at the change in my appearance. Anyway she is married to Ed's full brother. SHe wanted to know what happened with me and Ed. Now her and John are Christian and very into church and being good Christians ect. I expained without giving too many details how Ed is controling, emotionaly and verbaly abusive ect. She was like holy. John is the same way but since they have gone back to the church he is keeping under control. That and she does not let him get away with it. She made me promise that I would not go back to the weight I was before and not go back to Ed 
She said John has made a few attempts to be there for Ed but he has bascially not taken JOhn up on the offer. So I have been taking the high road on not telling his family my reasons for wanting a divorce but now that there has been time and people can put perspective on it they are seeing why we split and agreeing that is was the best thing to do for me and the kids. I promised to get ahold of her. She wants John to see me
