Nudity around toddlers?

What age do you think a child should be when you stop all nudity in front of him/her? Sometimes I'll be changing or getting out of the shower and Daniel will come walking in on me. It doesn't seem to bother him or phase him at all... but at what age should doors be locked when in the bathroom?

IMO, when they ( the toddler ) start having issues with it.

I grew up in a VERY open family, and we still practice that. Nudity is a normal thing for us, and the bathroom doors don't get locked. Sometimes you want your space, but I think each family have to decide what feels right for them. For us it is ok to be naked and ask questions, but for others it might not be. If any party is uncomfortable with it, let it be the grown up or the child, I think it should be stopped. But I don't believe there is a "golden rule" for everyone.

I'm with Eva on that!

Matt will throw Austin in the shower with him still sometimes to make it easier on me so I don't have to give 2 baths.

Austin is just getting to the age where now, when I change he's saying things about 'oooohh mommy has boobies' so I just turn around.

thats something i can't get around though. i'm here almost daily with them by myself, showering and getting ready for work so i have to keep doors open.

It's up to you.. however comfortable you feel

I agree, it is all up to your comfort level. Rhyne still takes showers with me and dh, and it doesn't seem to bother her, but I don't know how long that will last with dh, she is starting to recognize his male parts and keeps poking them asking what they are so, I may have a constant shower companion for a while

I think it depends on the child. I don;t lock the bathroomo door unless it is that time of the month. By the time I am getting out og the shower there is always 1 child in there going potty. Every oncein a while Logan will ask about something when he sees me naked but for the most part he doesn't. So at this point I don;t have aproblem with it..
