Colic & Acid reflux

Did any of your kiddos have either colic or acid reflux???

If so, is there anything you did that really helped them???

Jessi had colic and about the only thing that helped was carrying her around face down in the crook of my arm or laying her across my lap and patting her back while "bumping" her. Guess it relieved the pressure.

TJ had reflux and there really wasn't much I could do for him. I tried only feeding him sitting up and not laying him down immediately after eating, but he still spit up constantly. In hindsight I probably should have tried different formulas, but it was never suggested to me. I just assumed once he was eating solids, it would go away (NOT! Then they go from spitting up to throwing up!)

Oh yes. The medication helped more than anything. I also think it helped she was breastfeeding. She still has it. Unfortunately. We're still battling getting her to eat period.

Aaron had acid reflux, the medicine (once we BEGGED for it) helped a great deal...

Olivia had colic, nothing but holding her tummy down with a little pressure helped...
