My SIL is pregnant too and they are expecting a boy. They have 2 boys aleady Caden and Brooks. She really wants to name this one Cash (She wanted to name Brooks, Cash too but we talked her out of it) Can anyone help me think of a name that is kind of cowboyish but still cute? I have to talk her out of Cash.

PS Jokingly I asked her if she was going to spell it Ca$h but she didn't laugh. She was also considering Jackson only she wanted to spell it Jaxon. COME ON! give the kid a chance

I like Jaxon actually. And it is a heck of a lot better than Cash. JMO though.

Ok sorry. I didn't mean to imply that you shouldn't name your kid after tv characters but the point is we can't let her name him Cash. And if anyone who reads this named their kid Cash, I apologize too. I'm sure it fits him and is a great name.

Jaxon is cute, note sure about Cash, but it must be a name she really likes cause after two boys she's still thinking of it.

I wonder if she got the name Cash from the steer wrestler Cash Myers? His brother's name is Rope. Now that IS a cowboy family.

Actually, it is after Cash Myers (Our last name is Myers too) but we live in Indiana and she is from Oklahoma so it makes more sense to her than us. It's funny that you said that.

BTW, I love the name Wade. There was a boy in my class named Wade who all of my girlfriends and I looooooved.

Stran? How do you pronounce that?

I'm with Bridget on the name Brent, I knew a cowboy named Brent. Also the name Lane reminds me of a cowboy.

Hey, I personally love the name Jackson, and like her spelling. I was going to name Justin that, both DH and I loved it, but his family talked us out of it and I still resent it a bit!

Now, Cash, I don't know, but if she likes it, let her name him that. You all will love him no matter what his name is.

Well they have decided to name him Mason Kane, so I guess we dodged the Cash bullet this time. I know they are going to have more kids so this will probably come up again. Hopefully it will be a girl because a) they wouldn't name her Cash and b) then they'll stop having kids. Crisis averted! thanks ladies

We are thinking of Trace after Trace Adkins (just cause DH likes his name and he's a big burly oil rigger dude!)
