Planning ahead

How far ahead should you start planning if you want to take a weekend getaway for your anniversary? Our anniversary falls on a weekend this year, so do you think a better choice would be Friday night and Saturday, or Saturday night and Sunday?

I would do Saturday night and Sunday.

I agree with Tonya

As far as how far ahead you should plan, it depends on where you are going and when your anniversary is. If it is around a holiday then you might want to book a room 2-3 months, maybe even 4 ahead of time. It just depends.
