We aren't quite ready to start TTC, but what are some good things to know where you are getting ready to? Any things you need to know? Suggestions? Seeing as we have a furchild?

It's weird actually being in a place to say that we are actually looking to be able to Quite pleased Very pleased

I never did anything to get ready for Sam and with Logan I did the fertility treatments. If I were to do it all over again I would want to be a a decent weight, which you are, Maybe statrt taking atleast a multi-vitamin if not prentals? Of course eat right gets plenty of excersise.

So you gonna take the approach of "if it happens it happens"? That is what Sam was.

I am going to get a multi vitamin to take with my meds at night before bed, so I don't forget it. Need to see if my migraine preventative is safe to take during pregnancy. That way if it happens early, it happens. May talk about taking my patch off around my birthday in August then, since I am turning 29.

As my GP was trying to tell me. let's wait and see...endrometriosis won't affect you with pregnancy.

for him for me what rock has he been under?

If I was 22 I could wait, at almost 29, it's a little bit harder to take a wait and see attitude....sides, I am in a less stressful enviroment now Please bring on the

Have fun TTC

Yep - Folic Acid is a big thing. They suggest you start taking that before you are prego so it can be absorbed into your cells. ( Or something like that!)

Good luck TTCing, Nikki!

Go right for the prenatals, Nicci. They have all you and a baby would need before and while pregnant. Plus if you nurse, you'll need to keep taking them after you have a baby. The OTC ones are pretty cheap.

What everybody else said! You can find some multivitamins that have folic acid in them.

My prenatal vitamins were awful. I would (sorry if it's TMI) burp them and taste them all day. Ick. Someone told me to take them at night, and that helped a LOT!

Drink lots of water and get plenty of calcium.

If you have not already you might get an appointment with an OBGYN/Midwife.

Take prenatals

Both you and SO stop drinking/smoking etc. as it can affect everything.

Try to limit your OTC and RX drugs if possible.

Oh make sure to take calcium too and maybe hit the dentist.
