Instead of goodie bags . . .

I came up with what I think is a pretty neat idea for Elizabeth's birthday party. Since it'll be a butterfly theme, I was looking for ideas on how to design the invitations. I kept coming across butterfly mazes, color by number, and other coloring pages, so I decided to put together a little butterly activity and coloring book for the younger kids. I'll punch holes in it and tie it together with string or ribbon and tie a smartie to it so they have some candy. That's what they'll get instead of goodie bags and it'll be a lot cheaper than buying all the stuff to put in one.

Great idea! You might even go to the dollar store and get some crayons to go with it or buy a set of markers or even a pencil and attach.
