Hsg

Has anyone had an HSG done, and if so what type of side effects did you have?

I had one done and I had a tiny bit of cramping. They should tell you to take some tylenol or something like it before you go so it will dull or take away any pain you may have. You will also need to wear a pad (they should provide some) as the dye will leak back out for a little while afterwards. That is my experience anyways, I didn't have much discomfort. Melanie, I think you and I have gone through the same things!
Abbi, I had an hsg done, but I have to be honest, it REALLY hurt me! The procedure itself hurt A LOT, and my ob/gyn kept saying, "I am sorry, I know it hurts!" I took four tylenols before I went, but if I ever had to have it done again, I would be getting one of my mom's percocets. Afterwards I had cramps, but those weren't that bad. Sorry--I hope I am not scaring you.
