So what do you and DH/SO and family have planned for Monday?

We are not doing anything. Just going to cook a nice meal at home. Going to pick up the boys a card and chocolates. We decided not to exhange this year, just have a nice quiet evening

Not a darn thing with DH not working I don't wanna spend money for a nice dinner out. I'll probably still get him and DD a card and some candy. Maybe make a cake and just have dinner at home.

We have reservations at a nice hotel over the weekend (DH doesn't know yet) and then on Monday we are taking the kids to the circus.

Since I have to work and go to school, Steve and I are celebrating it on Sunday. After church I'd like to go out to a nice restaurant (a romantic one would be nice), and then go see a movie (which seems to only happen on special occasions now and not just anytime).

We probably won't do anything. I don't know of anyone who wants to babysit. I don't think we're exchanging gifts, but I don't know for sure. Probably won't know for sure until that night.

The kids are each getting a little box of chocolates and that's it. Billy and I don't normally exchange anything other than a "Happy Valentine's Day". The kids are making cards to give to their grandparents and great aunts. Maybe we'll light candles at dinner that evening.

Our festivities for this holiday start Friday! On the schdule:

Friday: We are all going to a Father-Daughter/Mother-son Dance. It's a fun dress up event. Can't wait. I ordered the children's flowers today, a wrist corsage for my daughter and a "boot" (LOL) for my son. After the dance we are going to a fancy local restaurant.

Saturday: We have a children's party in the afternoon. That evening my husband and I are going to a Valentines Fundraiser dance.

Sunday: Afternoon Valentine's Party and Dance for the whole family.

Monday: Party at the co-op for the kids. That evening we will have dinner brought in from our favorite local resort and then the rest of the family (my parents, grandparents, sister, etc) will come over to indulge at our dessert table (which the kids will be helping me prepare!!) and we will have the big gift exchange. After everyone leaves and the kids are tucked in, hubby and I are going to just stay up late watching movies and snuggling up together.

We're going to see Paul Anka at the casino and then do dinner on Tuesday when the restaurants won't be as busy.
