Does anyone have the problem of not ovulating? What causes this?

I think there all kinds of reasons one could not ovulate. I ovulate, but not regularly...therefore I have irregular periods. The reason for me is a hormone imbalance.

Do you know for sure that you don't ovulate? Or are you just guessing? If you have regular periods, then that's usually a sign that things are working correctly.

There are things you can do to find out whether you're ovulating or not, but the easiest thing to do is to start taking your waking temperature, BEFORE you get out of bed or do anything, then plot your temperature on a chart. After a while, you'll be able to see a pattern.

if you do this for a couple of months, you will be able to predict exactly when you ovulate and the bonus is, you'll also be able to know exactly when your period is due, and it will even tell you if you're pregnant, without a test.

Go to your library and check out the book, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It's OUTSTANDING in helping women understand exactly how their bodies work, and it teaches step-by-step how to chart.

If your charts don't show a pattern after about six months, then you can take them to your doc and maybe then he or she can help you out.

Good luck!

Ovulation

I know for a fact that I did not ovulate, because my levels indicated that to my RE...I 've don 4 cycle of failed Clomid, I am skipping this month and next month will move to injectibles.

We are going to try 3 cycles of this and that is it. The treatment will be around $1500.00 to $2000.00 per month.
