Mixed signals

How did you know you were ready to TTC? Were you ready to try at the same time as your DH? Did you ever get mixed signals about whether or not he was ready?

Oh yes, but once he saw I was serious he went along with it. Now, he is glad he did. Our dd has him twisted around her little finger.

With our first we both kind of hand mixed feeling, but by the time we both decided to wait a few more months it was to late.

I was ready before he was, so we waited a few more years. When we started TTC, we weren't really trying, we just quit using birth control. Not too long after that, we thought I was pregnant, and we were both much more excited at the possibility than we had expected to be, so needless to say, when AF showed up, we were disappointed, but that sealed it for us. After that we were really trying.

DD wasn't planned but we are both heII bent on getting #2 here that's for sure. When we first found out about dd we were a little uneasy, but after my first ultrasound at 8 weeks we were beside ourselves. Seeing a heart beat brought us both to our senses and we were overjoyed!

Jessica, what you wrote made me think of something my DH said after we had Emily. When she was about six months old, he told me, "If I had known how great having a baby would be, we would have had one a long time ago!"

With both pregnancies we were both ready to TTC at the same time.

Well, I told DH that I was ready to start a family. He said "really" I think that got him to thinking and it wasn't before lond he said that he was ready.

Now since we have 1 child...he has even said that he wants another child to be in the make before 2005 is up. hey...I want another child so I'm going along with him.

we were on board for trying. by the time it happened we had forgotten about trying and were not even close to ready

With Brandon I just pretty much told DH I was going off the pill, if he wasn't ready then he needed to get protection. That didn't last long. With the second, we were both ready to start at the same time.
