We spend $50 on a big gift and get a few smaller ones.

Not a whole lot. Cori's is right after Christmas so there is not much that she still needs or really wants. Plus, she gets tons from her biodad and his family.
Hailey's is just before Christmas so I am tryign to clean out the toy boxes then.

Jonathan's is in January, so we usually shop the after Christmas sales and get him something then for a reduced price. He's not old enough to really want anything in particular yet.

About $100. They get a mix of clothes and toys.

Raymond bday is 10 days before Xmas so he gets loaded with stuff. Ray and I usually spend about 100.00 on clothes and toys for him or get him one big gift with clothes

I set a $100.00 limit for each birthday. I may change it in the future but for now it seems to be enough. Not to mention they get spoiled by family.

Yeah dd gets spoiled constantly buy us and both sides of the fam so we limited her bday gifts. We went all out on the party though. After all it was her first bday!

It just depends on money...last year we didn't have much money so Elizabeth got one toy and had a party. total $40.00

this year looks a whole lot better, but we are not having a party. We are going to spend about $300.00 for a riding Barbie jeep. I will make her a cake and that's it.

First 2 years we went all out and this year since the divorce is final we are doing the Chuck E Cheese party even with that the party is about 150 cause I have to feed the adults too. I will spend 150 on the powerwheels jeep I want to get for him. Ex is helping pay for the party therefore it's about $75 a piece but I have a big family that loves together and I can't just invite some they all have to come.

it all depends. We normally try to go to the zoo around her birthday (but I make everyone pay for themselves) then I do a small party at the house (cause not everyone can make the zoo)
with cake and snacks. then she gets lots of stuff. I am sure in past years I have spent a few $100.

this year though we are scaling things down a bunch.

we usually spend a couple of hundred on rhyne, but that is going to have to stop soon This year she is just getting a Vsmile, a video now color player, adapter and 3 discs. Then we are going to take her to Chuck e cheese's and then to Build a bear. We aren't having a party for her this year, since we don't know anyone around here, but if we have a party, usually we spend another $100 on decorations and such and then $30 on a cake.

Thats so funny. Jasmine's birthday is March 2 and Dh and I jsut had this discussion. I spend around $100.00. This year however, we had two birthday parties for her. One with her friends and one with the family. So I would have to say we spent right around $200.00
