With butter, jam, peanut butter? 
Okay, I am weird. I like to toast my bread a nice dark brown and then leave it sitting for a few minutes so that it is not hot any more so that my butter won't melt.
Then it is like a giant cracker with butter-lol! Oh, and I expecially like rye or 12 grain bread for this best!
Today I had peanut butter on my toast all melty and good though.
Just for a little change.
