Pilates Conditioning for Weight Loss (Gaiam)

This was even worse than the last Pilates workout I tried! It was so 'serene' -- I thought it was yoga for a while. I didn't even finish the workout. Mike didn't like this one either.

I don't think Pilates is for me ... at least not at this point. Quite frankly, I like to sweat when I work out. I want to KNOW that I'm doing something. Pilates is just to low key for me and it's all I can do not to fall asleep while I'm laying there in the floor.

For someone that would actually enjoy Pilates, this might be a good choice wince it has 3 different workout levels, including beginner's modifications.

I will add that Pilates is NOT a sissy workout ... I just don't personally enjoy it.

Try Pilates Crunch! It does standing and mat work and I can always feel it the next day.

I might, but honestly, I'm a fan of the stability ball if we're talking floor work. I may just find some workouts that can be done with the ball -- it works on the core muscles also, and I really enjoy it.
