eDiets.com

I'm neutral on this one. I joined eDiets last year. It's my understanding that much has been added since then, so it maybe worthwhile to look at again.

However, my experience was that it was limited. Yes, you have a number of diet plans to choose from and you can jump back and forth between them at any time, but most of them were very set in their food choices. If for example, you don't care for cottage cheese, there really wasn't much room for variation or any suggestions on something to replace it with that you may like better.

At the time, the diet plans included: The Zone, Atkins, Dr. Phil & the eDiets plan, which if I remember correctly, is just a low fat diet.

It looks as if they've added several new, popular diets this year:
Eating For Life (which I'm a big fan of), Slim Fast, the Blood Type Diet, & 2 from Oprha's Trainer (Bob Greene).

I'm seriously thinking about rejoining, but I want to also check out Denise Austin, Billy Blanks, and a few others offering diet info.

I am on the eDiets plan and they have come a long way. There are a lot of options and a lot of plans. They have added Jenny Craig, Slim Fast, Dr. Phil, Dr. Perricone, etc. If you do not like something on your plan there are a lot of options.
I have been on the plan for about 3 years and have been a mentor for 2 of those years. If you have any questions about your plan or need any help they have a 24 hour help line you can call or you can email a nurition expert. They have live meetings online you can participate in. You can ask questions and add your own comments. They are making changes all the time.
Have a great day.

Thanks for that update - I think I'll try it out again since I'm doing the Body for Life program!

Just for the record, I rejoined in March, and am not any more impressed. I'm sorry, but 1200 calories per day is NOT sufficient for a person that works out one to two hours per day!

To cancel your membership, you have to wait 3 months. So I paid $60 for something I never used. To top it off, I called and called to cancel, but could never get through. I finally sent an email through their website, which was ignored. I was charged yet ANOTHER $20, sent another email requesting cancellation, and amazingly, it was answered. However, they never acknowledged my requests to refund the $20 since they didn't cancel it when I asked initially.

Nothing. Nada.

Folks ... save your money.
