What should I get????

The Peanut's getting to where she should have either an exersaucer or a walker. I'm leaning toward an exersaucer. I thought I would ask you all what you have and how it has worked for you?

What's good? What's Bad? What should I TOTALLY avoid?

I cant have a walker in my house because of all my stairs (ok I could have one - but its really not safe unless I can watch her like a hawk. )

Kates already been hanging in a saucer for an hour or so a day.

so I have both (cause I used the walker at the DQ with Lys (nothing like watching a baby run into customers! ) but I prefer the saucer.

Any brand you like better?

Love those exersaucers! And there are so many variations ... some rock, some don't. Some just bounce ... I don't know that my kids really like any one over the other, but they really liked the little toys and gadgets on the trays!

Kyler was in a saucer... and Delaney is in one now.
BOTH of them love it!!

Honestly Kim, bring her to babies r us and let her pick on out. They will let you bring the store displays on the floor and put her in them. See what ones grab her attention.

Delaney just sits in it right now - grabbing toys. However, Kyler use to BOUNCE in it. hee hee.

I would get the saucer because it is much safer...she can maybe build up her leg muscles and walker quicker.

we got a saucer from Wal-Mart...about $40.00

Cool. I never thought of that, Shari. If we go to get DH a suit tonight, we should swing by Babies R us and check it out!

we have one similar to those too. It as a hand me town to Lys and now Kate loves it too!

Nick had a walker and the Take-Along Hop ’n Pop from fisher price. He loved both. A walker is not unsafe if you watch her, and your house doesn't have to many stairs.

We got the Exersaucer Mega by Evenflo for Ash. I love it...we had a Nascar for James Problem with my kids is when they get mobile they don't like to be restricted, but we've gotten a fair amount of use out of this one. Will keep it if we ever decide to have another.

I would definetly recommend it...saw it compared to the Ultra (more expensive version) and others, but really liked this one.

I had both! Emily LOVED the exersaucer, and so did I. My sister gave me good advice on the exersaucer and just told me to get one that had a little space available to put cheerios or something like that on it. I appreciated that advice after I bought mine. Em's had a castle theme and it had a couple of things that played music. We used the walker on our driveway (we used to live on ten acres and had a big driveway).

There are a ton of them. I don't remember the name brand of mine but it had circus animals on it. Justin loved it. They range about $60-70. Another cool thing is the jumper. It is on the same stand as a swing, but they jump. It is safer than the ones that used to hang from doorways.

the saucer we have converts into a toddler toy...Nicholas is playing with it now as we speak (in toddler form). This one used ato be Liz's and its great. Its also evenflo...I love their stuff

We had both. But I couldn't use a walker at our old house because of the stairs. We had an exersaucer and a Fisher-Price bouncer thing that was shaped like a bug. I thought the bug thing was adorable. It played music, lit up, and had a ton of toys on the tray. But it was harder than @#$(#%^## to fold up and store. They have so many different exersaucers with different toy trays and add-ons now that look great. We had an older exersaucer that didn't have as many toys, but Jonathan loved it. If he sees one now in a store, he still wants to go over and play with it.

Logan loved his saucer! spent hours upon hours in it!

the walkers have been banned up here, so that wasn't an option for us.

I had a walker with all 3 kids. I also used them as a portable high chair. Great to take along since they can collapse so small. Put a baby gate up if you have stairs.

Well, we got the Peanut the ExcerSaucer Ultra by Evenflo. She seems to really like it. I might look into either a walker or jumper (prolly the walker) for her to use outside. Our house is completely carpeted (except the bathroom and basement), so she probably wouldn't be able to use it inside much.

Liz... Spoiled? My Peanut? Wouldn't think of it!
