Names, names, names

I think we've finally decided on a boy's name: Peter Carson. It's a combination of both our grandfather's names and they happen to be two of my favorite names.

We're half-way there on a girl's name: Karson for the middle name. First names we are still debating. I have my favorites and he has his, none of which are the same.

Congratulations. naming baby is harder than even deciding to have another baby.

That's for sure! We didn't have such a problem coming up with names the first two times but this time has been murder!

I love Carson/Karson for a middle name.

I love the name Peter too!
Good luck coming up with a girls name!

Cool!

I know... I think naming the Peanut was the most difficult thing before she got here!

We are having a much harder time with girl's names too.

LOL--We had hoped Christian was a boy because it was the name we agreed on right away.

I love Carson for a boy or a girl. I actually prefer Carson more for a girl than a boy because of Carson McCullers, the GREAT southern writer! Love the names!

I really wish Billy liked Carson/Karson enough to use it for a first name but I'll take what I can get!

With Alexander, a boy's name is what was agreed on first and with Elizabeth, a girl's name is what was agreed on first. So maybe this one will be a boy?

Thankfully my husband let me do the naming of dd. He said that since I had to go through labor, etc, then I should have the honor of naming her. But I did let him help. However, he wanted her middle name to be Brianna, but I overruled him and went with Kate.
It's hard to come up with a name by yourself, but to find one that you both agree on is beyond difficult! Good luck!

Thanks Tammy! We've done it twice before so I'm sure this time we'll eventually find something we agree on, hopefully sooner than later. (fingers crossed)

When are you due?? Are you going to find out what you are having?

My EDD is 8/25/05 and we're not going to find out before birth. That's why we need a boy and a girl name picked out.

Well I love the boy name! You are so fortunate that y'all have grandfathers with good names. Kyle and I would love to name a son (if we ever have one) after our grandfathers, but their names were Harold and Howard. Not exactly our style!!
I also think Karson will be a cute middle name for a girl.
