What am I going to do?!?

We had planned to have Zach's birthday party at a park in Burlington (a central location so Shona & Dawn's families could come) and I called 2 months in advance which I thought would be plenty of time but the shelters and picnic areas are all booked up.

We were so sure that is what we were going to do that I'm clueless now. We can't afford to have a party at a traditional party location like CEC or a museum but if we have it at home, it is too far (and too small) for Zach's ONLY friends to make it.

I'm so bummed.

Maybe we can have it at my house Elaine? Although that's a bit far for anyone coming from your neck of the woods ... but the offer is out there ... we could have a cook out or let them run around in the sprinklers out back ...

Any other towns toward that area? Maybe some of those would still have some pavilions available.

There really aren't any other parks like this one anywhere around that I'm aware of. I can't believe they are already booked Elaine!

We don't really have anyone from our area Dawn except for Stacy and I can't imagine her going anywhere beyond Durham.
My other reason for wanting to be that way was so my mom could maybe come.
