HELP! "The I want another baby bles"

I am 41, which is kind of irrelevant, but...I am starting a new fulltime career in about a month and we have a 9, 7, 4 yr old plus 15 yr old pregnant step. We hope to have her put her baby up for adoption as I stated in a post in Stepfamilies. Anyway, we are also moving to a bigger house at the end of March where the 4 girls will have their own room. What in the world am I thinking???!!!! I know on the one hand it would be best for all of us to just go on, as the girls are now all in school and we can go and do more things. On the other hand, I have this huge tug and I really would like a son. I am trying to let go of it and let the Lord decide. In other words, not really "try" but if I do get pregnant it is meant to be and if I don't, it is not. ( I have been off birth control for a year and a half already anyway and we have done well.)

Any advice?!

Personally, I would wait till your grandbaby is born. Chances are your SD is going to want to keep it and then you will get that baby itch gone. I think you may want another baby b'cuz SD is having one so it is on your mind a lot also. JMO What does your DH say?

First of all.. WELCOME BACK!!! It's been so long since I've seen you! We were just talking about having an Ohio 'reunion' with all of us Ohioans!!

Secondly.. I would say.. let the lord lead you. Since thats what you've been doing, then maybe that will tell you wether or not you need another.

I think that waiting for the grandbaby is a good idea too..

Dh says whatever will make me happy. He had wanted another one roughly 9 or 10 months ago, which kind of shocked me then. I have had the tug for several months now myself, since way before SD. It has made it harder though with her expecting and also, the first week she was here we were studing OB/GYN and it about killed me. I would cry over my textbook! Hee Hee. Anyway, I appreciate the support. You all know how important it can be to get an objective opinion! Thanks!

PS I would love to do an Ohio reunion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. I'll be 40 on my next birthday and we've talked about another one. But it just doesn't seem to be in the cards for us. to your family. Welcome back.

Just think these thoughts...
Poopy diapers
snotty noses
spit up
middle of the night feedings

I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you. I personally have never experienced it.
