I had four girls RSVP for Jasmine's party. Then about one hour before time another girl called to RSVP. Then as the girls started showing up. I had another girl show up. Which really isnt that big of a deal because I had six baskets made up anyways.
We started off with Cricket Challenge.
I took a 5 gallon bucket and put little plastic lizards at the bottom of the bucket. Then put clephane arond the top of the bucket and cut a hole in the middle. I then released 3 dozen crickets into the bucket. I gave the girls 30 sec to see who could pull the must lizards out of the bucket. They could only pull one out at a time. We had a tie with both the girls getting 14. Then I took it down to 15 sec. Again another tie. So I took it down to 10 sec to declare a winner
Next Spegitti Shuffle
I made up seven bowls of cooked speggitti and hit one round gunball inside each bowl. The girls then had to only use their mouths to move the speggitti around to find the piece of gum, chew it up and make a bubble. Fasted time wins. The girl who won did it in 30 sec. Most took around 60 sec to complete
Bobbing of Apples Fear Factor style
I took at 3 gallon bucket and put 4 dozen minnows in the water. Each girl was timed to see how long it would take to get an apple out of the water. This game took longer then expected. Most of the girls gave up after 6 min. But it was funny watching there faces when I took the cover off and revealed the minnows.
I then had a plate of sardines I had cut up and had planned on telling the girls that those where some of the minnows. But I totally forgot I even had them.
By this time it was 7:30 and I was already wore out so I made pizza, we did the cake, ice cream and presents thing and I had all seven of the girls laying down watching movies peacefully by 8:30. Untill DH came home and got them all wound up again. The girls where still awake at 10:30 when I went to bed.
In the morning I had two girls leave early but I still had one more
challenge. I did a cold feet game. The girls had to stand in a bucket of ice water for the longest. The longest time was 2:35. Some of them as soon as their feet touched the water were done.
Needless to say we all had fun and evey one of the girls at least tried everything. Lawrence even joined it.
I had one mom when she came to pick up her daughter ask when was I going to do an adults Fear Factor.
