Resurrection Biscuits

Take biscuit dough and press it out flat. Explain that this is the cloth that was used to wrap Jesus’ body in after the crucifixion. Then take one large marshmallow (This will represent Jesus’ body) and roll it in butter and a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. (This represents the oil and spices used to anoint Jesus’ body with.) Place it in the middle of the biscuit dough and fold up the sides of the biscuit. Put it in the oven and talk about how Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days. Cook as directed on the biscuit package. When you bite into the biscuit the marshmallow will be gone. Explain that Jesus is no longer in the grave, but has risen!
