How much did you pay for your:

Wedding Dress?

Flowers?

Pictures?

I got my dress form a friend. It was used. I paid $30 for it and the veil together. I put about $25-35 into satin roses, pearls, and sequins for the dress and also bought a new headpiece for the veil (she'd used a comb, and I detatched the veil and put it on a clip instead). So, all in all, about $50-60.

My pastor's wife made my bouquet at a gift to me. I made the bridesmaids bouquets. They were probably about $5 each, because I got most of the flowers on clearance. We put about another $50 into flowers for decorations and corsages, bouteneires (however you spell it) and other things.

Pictures--A friend took my bridal portraits. So, all I had to pay for was the film and developing. That was about $40. Then we had DH's friend's wife take our wedding pictures. The developing of the film was about $50, although I don't remember how much we actually paid for the film, or if that's something she bought for herself.

Our cake was $75. A friend of ours recommeded a lady to do it for us. She first told us $100. The one I wanted was very simple, and after I showed it to her, she changed her mind and said $75.

Wedding Dress?- $300 from Ebay

Flowers? $50. Clearance at Hobby Lobby- would have cost $275 (the lady that made them did it for free!)

Pictures? That was a big one. I think it was $500

Cake? Umm.. About $100. My friend melissa (she was my matron on honor) her MIL Pat made it for me.

We got a package deal at the Country Club we had the wedding at. It was $10,000 for 100 people, included food, bar, cake, flowers, photographer and DJ. I got my wedding dress at a consignment shop at it was $400 + $100 for the veil.

Wedding Dress? It was about $75 in alterations and having the veil made (I wore my moms dress but my own veil.)

Flowers? Well MIL was supposed to make them and then less than a month before tells me she isnt going to have time so she gave me $100 towards the flowers. It wa VERY DIFFICULT to get flowers so short notice. But they ended up costing around $500

Pictures? $1600 but we wont go there - it was an awful experience.

Cake? About $300 I went to a new bakery in town. It was very good but not set up how I asked. However we had a DQ machine set up there. went way over bigger than the cake I have over 1/2 the cake left!

Wedding Dress? $900

Flowers? $1400 (all fresh, included decorating the church and all the bouquets.

Pictures? $1200 (and worth every penny!!)

Cake? It was included in the catering from the reception hall.

Dress--about $50 from the outlet mall in Las Vegas

Flowers-none

Pictures-about $50 They took a roll of film and sent it home with us so we had to get it developed ourselves

Cake-none Although we did spend a lot on chocolate covered strawberries & whipped cream once we got back to our room

Tip for the "minister" performing the ceremony--$40 How many of y'all had to do that?

My shoes were the most expensive and were about $100 from the outlet mall. Are ya shocked?

Wedding Dress? Total was around $700

Flowers? I got fresh flowers and all of the candles thingys from one place plus the place did all of the bouquets for everyone and decorated the church...maybe $1000.00

Pictures? About $325

Cake? About $225 I had a basket weave type cake

Dress - Around $1200, including alterations. Veil was about another $50.

Flowers - we had a mix of real and artificial, so around $200
for all.

Pictures - $300

Cake $ 250 for both brides and grooms cakes.

Oh, ok. I thought it was a Las Vegas thing. They told us that the MINIMUM to tip was $40 and well, since we were in Vegas and not doing too well....we left $40.

Wedding Dress? $800 for the dress and another $35 for the veil

Flowers? $50 We did them all ourselves and they were EXACTLY like I wanted them

Pictures? $200 One of the guys I work with is a photographer and only charged me for film and developing

Cake? My sister did it as her present to me

Tip was $50 for a friend of Adam's

How much did you pay for your:

Wedding Dress? - $300-400 I think

Flowers? - Just the cost of the flowers (silk) I think it was maybe 20-30??

Pictures? Free, dh's uncle took them

Cake? - free, my mom made it

oh we had to make a donation for the minister too, I think we gave him $50, and we had to pay $200 for counseling before they would marry us

Cake: $500 for mine, don't remember Billy's cost
