I dislike the name chosen for my nephew!!

My sil is pregnant and found out it is a boy. However I do not like the name she and my brother chose---- Jeremy Walter.
Their reason--Jeremy for their favorite Hockey player and Walter to honor our father who passed away.
The names just don't flow at all.


Anyone else dealing with this?

I know I have to get used to it but it is hard.

I like it too. Sorry, not a help to you though.
My BILs name is Jeremy Wallace. I do not like Wallace but I guess it kinda flows.

I love the name Jeremy. That is what my sister originally had hoped to name my nephew until her husband objected. My nephew's name is Andrew Isom. I really disliked his middle name, but it is a family name, and truthfully, it's used only when he's in trouble, so it doesn't matter.

It took me a while to get used to my neice's name, too - Amberle' Katelyn. But you get used to it.

Thanks everyone . I am sure I will get used to it. Am looking forward to being an Auntie again ( this will be my 8 th -- I have 3 nieces and will have 5 nephews when Jeremy arrives).

sorry you don't like the name, but maybe they don't like the names you chose either?? I figure unless you gave birth or helped create the child you have no say in the name.

Besides, he could've been Ezekial
